If you are experiencing connection problems on Windows 7/8, see several troubleshoots listed below:
1/ Re-run application - Quit from VPN Shield Desktop app, run application and check connection again.
2/ Change VPN type - Try to change the VPN protocol from L2TP to PPTP: you need to run VPN Shield Preferences from application menu, click "Advanced" tab, change Preferred VPN type to PPTP.
3/ Delete VPN Profiles - If connections still not worked, delete VPN profiles from Network settings:
- Click on "Open Network Preferences" from VPN Shield menu;
- Сlick on "Change adapter settings" in the Network and Sharing Center;
- Delete existed VPN Shield profiles;
When profiles are deleted - re-login to application and check connection again.
If connection issue still exist - send a request from VPN Shield Desktop application by clicking "Contact our support link" on the VPN Shield preferences.
