1) Our subscription service gives you a choice of server locations. Our application automatically generates a VPN profile is used to establish a secure VPN connection to our servers in around the world: USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Sweden, Canada or Singapore. All you need to do is select the name of the country from the list. 

2) You can change the settings so that VPN Shield automatically connects as soon as it detects that an unsafe Wi-Fi network is being used. Or, you can set it to show a warning when an unsafe Wi-Fi connection has been made if you don't want to connect automatically. If the VPN Shield connection is dropped at any time, the app will automatically try to restore it. 

3) You can use your own VPN connection and still have the automatic VPN connection functionality. This is ideal for small businesses owners who have employees who telecommute and regularly need to access your corporate network. 

VPN Shield’s user interface is clean and simple. It works like the VPN client that comes standard with a Mac OSX but provides much more functionality. The VPN shield icon, visible at all times on the menubar, reflects the state of the network with just a glance, and clicking on it extends the entire VPN Shield menu, gives you easy access to other servers, your subscription and network preferences.
